Hippety Hoppety Bunny Bags

Happy Monday!
How was your weekend? Mine was great! I got lots done inside the house and outside. I loved being outside in the warm sunshine. I do believe I got a fair dose of vitamin D! LOL!

Today I have a few little gift bags that I created not too long ago when I attended a scrapping party. Of course everyone else was working on scrap book pages while I constructed my little bunny gift bags!
They are all basically the same, except they each have different papers. Oh and the flowers are all different too.
I used an older Kim Hughes stamp for the hang tag.  Its from an Easter set and I love it! I use this set every year several times.
The bunnies are cut out using a Sizzix die that I got a long time ago at Hallmark Scrapbook.  Isn't he a cutie? I inked all the edges for definition.
These 3 little bags are for sale in my Etsy shop, but hurry because we are running out of time for me to ship them to you in time for Easter.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day!  HUGS! :)

Birds in Disguise!

Happy Wednesday!
Does anyone else love mustache humor as much as I do?  It seems to be everywhere right now too!

I don't know about you, but I've never seen a bird in disguise, but I guess it could happen! LOL!  I used another one of the birds from my new Cricut cartridge, 3 Birds on Parade that I got at Hallmark Scrapbook a while ago.  I was loving this guy when I spotted him. Funny!
And the perfect sentiment I used is from The Cutting Cafe'.  The set is called Mustache Shaped Card Set.  Awesome pairing! I love when that happens!
I just printed the sentiment on some of the green paper I used and trimmed it into a banner.
Its fun to use printed papers where you would normally choose solids just for a fun change of pace and creativity!
If you enjoy mustache humor or have a friend who does, this cooky card is for sale in my Etsy shop.

Sweet Little Bunny Chick

Happy Monday!
I hope your weekend treated you well! Mine was great, but I could have used more sunshine instead of all the wind we had!

I recently got a new cartridge from Hallmark Scrapbook called 3 Birds on Parade. It's a fun cartridge with the cutest little birds in it.  I spotted this little guy with his bunny ears on and had to make an Easter card.
Isn't he adorable? The little cracked egg that I stamped the Kim Hughes sentiment on comes with him.
I popped him up off the background shadow for a little extra interest on the card. I love glitter paper and I think its perfect for Easter.
I used rain dots for his eyes and some cats eye chalk ink for his rosey cheeks.  The stamp is from an older set of Kim Hughes stamps before she started her own store. I love her handwriting style.
This little cutie is for sale in my Etsy shop along with a few other Easter items.  I was hoping to have my shop all stocked up for Easter this year, but my real job is keeping me rather busy these days!

Have You Got Your Green On?

Happy Friday!
Yay, we made it to yet another weekend. I love my weekends and always look forward to reaching them.

So tomorrow you have to make sure you're wearing some green so you won't get pinched! Heehee!  Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day?  I decided not to decorate for St. Pat's Day this year and just moved right on to Easter.
I did however decide to create a pretty little shamrock card to send to the kiddos so they know we are thinking of them.
This awesome St. Pat's Day back ground is from The Cutting Cafe'.  I used some Kraft card stock to print it on.  I just love how it turned out.
The shamrock was cut out using my Cricut Expressions and the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge.  I tied a bit of green wrinkle ribbon on the stem to add a bit more dimension.  I love wrinkle ribbon!
The kiddos should have their card by now and hopefully enjoying it.  I bet they may have learned a little something in school about St. Patrick's Day.  I can remember we did and I also remember if you didn't wear green...the boys would pinch you for sure! :)

Lucky Me

Happy Wednesday!
Here we are just half way through our week and on the way to the weekend.  We are having wonderful weather here in Texas and its really starting to seem like Spring. I love it! :)

I have just a really simple card to show you today.  I made it for my honey to tell him how lucky I am to have him!
I used some older Kim Hughes stamps and my Stampin' Up ink and marker that matches to complete this card. Very simple.
I wrote the "me" in so its a bit darker.  At first it bothered me that the "me" stood out, but then I thought, hmmmm, maybe I like it that way! LOL!
The green striped paper was a piece out of my scrap bin that almost fit perfectly.  I just had to trim it down a little bit to fit.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please come again really soon, but until then...have a lovely day!  HUGS! :)
